SKATE AIDE
"Skate Aide" is tentatively scheduled for January 16th and 23rd and again on February 20th and 27th, all from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. There will be a limited number of Skate Aid participants allowed. Club skaters make people skating during the session feel welcomed and comfortable. They help public skaters tie their skates properly and just engage them with some pleasant conversation and a warm smile. The club provides pizza for the Aides at the end of the session. Skaters dress nicely, initiate conversations with the public and wear their club jacket when possible. Some photos below are from one of the Skate Aide Saturdays. We believe it was a great success and huge hit with the public skaters. Club Participants not pictured are just as much appreciated as these we did capture on film. If you are interested in being a Skate Aide, email Lynne Daviet for more information: lfdaviet@yahoo.com.
